159.0 Firefox Enterprise Release

October 27, 2026

Version 159.0, first offered to Release channel users on October 27, 2026

Firefox Enterprise 159 builds on Firefox 159, including its security fixes and web platform improvements. See the Firefox 159 release notes for details.

New

  • Admins can enforce sign in with company credentials after a browser crash, preventing access to a restored browser session without authentication.

  • Added SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) generation to Firefox Enterprise builds.

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where the language switcher may have been visible in localized builds.

  • Fixed an issue where missing configuration files prevented Firefox Enterprise from updating to a newer version.

  • Fixed the Access Connector icon disappearing when Firefox displays a site's content in its built-in JSON or PDF viewer.

  • Fixed an issue where enabling a DLP file download rule caused the fallback action to apply to all downloads, regardless of the configured domains.

Changed

  • Repeated failures to fetch remote policies are now logged in about:policies only when the error changes, reducing duplicate entries.

  • The SkipTermsOfUse policy is re-enabled on Enterprise builds.

  • Form ML is now disabled on enterprise releases by default.
